Stairs in the sidewalk on both sides of the steep half of the block between Leavenworth and Hyde.

Officially, the steep part of the block is tied with 22nd Street between Church and Vicksburg Streets as the steepest street in the city. Unofficially, these streets aren't the steepest.

The stairs at the top of the south side of the block were replaced in 2009 or 2010 when 1141 Filbert was remodeled.
