Multiple stairways from Montgomery Street to the dead-end block of Vallejo to the west. There's a center stairway surrounded by lush gardens, and two narrow stairways alongside the buildings on either side of the street.

The center stairway appears to have been built in the 1970s. The block was previously paved with concrete in the center, with the two stairways on either side.
