San Antonio place is an L-shaped street between Vallejo and Kearny Street. The stairs are on the south leg to Vallejo Street. There are steps on both sides of the right-of-way of the street, but the steps on the east side were fenced off during a remodeling of 524 Vallejo in 2014.

As of my most recent visit, new planters were being built next to the stairs and the steps themselves may have recently been rebuilt.
