Two separate stairways on either side of the street at the bottom, joining together to a single stairway about a third of the way up the hill. There are two walkways at the top that originally mirrored the two stairways at the bottom, but were shortened when the Muni turnaround was built at the top of the hill.

Built around 1927, when all of the streets were graded and the stairways were built in Golden Gate Heights.
