Kenny Alley has received a series of improvements since 2016 as part of the Kenny Alley Beautification Project. These improvements include a mosaic gateway at Mission Street, multiple murals, a succulent garden, and most notably, a tile mosaic of a waterfall on the stairs.

Both the stairway mosaic and gateway mosaics were designed by Kim Jenson and the tiles were created by students at City Arts and Tech High School.
