15th Avenue between Moraga Street and Noriega Street

  • Neighborhood: Golden Gate Heights
  • Location: Along the retaining wall dividing 15th Avenue in half between Moraga Street and Noriega Street
  • Height: 15 feet

This stairway was featured in "Dirty Harry". The Scorpio Killer runs up the stairs immediately before highjacking the school bus near the end of the movie.

Built circa 1927 when the streets in Golden Gate Heights were graded.
